Austria is a central European state of Danubian culture, it borders the Nation-states of Bohemia, Bavaria, Hungary, Illyria, Venice, Tyrol, and Salzburg.

Austria, a large state in the Holy Roman Empire is one of the most powerful nations of the Danubian culture, second only to Bavaria, even though both start under the sphere of influence of Bohemia. Austria is in a strange position in Europe though, being landlocked and surrounded by powerful neighbors, Austria should keep their cards close to there chest and be careful of every step they take, but if they play these cards right, they can become a great power by conquest of the few smaller states around it and form the Danubian Confederation, or even better, Germany itself.
